วันลอยกระทง เป็นวันเทศกาลสำคัญ วันหนึ่ง ของคนไทย ซึ่งจะมีขึ้นใน วันขึ้น 15 ค่ำ เดือน 12 ประเพณีนี้กำหนดขึ้นเพื่อเป็นการสะเดาะเคราะห์และขอขมาต่อพระแม่คงคา เป็นที่เชื่อกันว่า กระทงนี้ จะพาไปซึ่ง บาปและความโชคร้าย ทั้งมวลออกไป ซึ่งในค่ำคืนวันลอยกระทง วันที่ 12 พฤศจิกายน 2551 ทางโรงแรมณุศาพลาญ่า แอนด์ สปา ได้จัดงานเฉลิมฉลองขึ้น ณ Nusa Terrace ถนนเลียบชายหาดจอมเทียน เวลา 19 :00 – 22:00 น. ซึ่งมีกิจกรรมที่ช่วยสืบสานวัฒนธรรมไทย มากมาย อาทิเช่น การประกวดกระทง การสอนทำกระทง การประกวดนางนพมาส การแสดงรำไทยที่งดงาม และพบกับอาหาร International BBQ. Seafood ทีแสนอร่อยและหลากหลาย ซึ่งสร้างความประทับใจให้กับแขกของโรงแรม และผู้ที่ผ่านไปมาบริเวณ ถนนเลียบชายหาด จอมเทียนเป็นอย่างมาก

One of the most beautiful festivals that take place in Thailand is the one for Loy Krathong. As they float away their krathong , they ask for forgiveness in polluting the waterways and also for good luck in the coming year. In fact, the festival is of Brahmin origin in which people offer thanks to the Goddess of the water. On this occasion Nusa Playa Hotel & Spa offers a wonderful evening on Wednesday, November 12 th, 2008: A spectacular International B.B.Q. Seafood Buffet & delicacies from all corners of the kingdom.
